3C: Commodifying Communication in Capitalism

Marx in the Age of Digital CapitalismJernej Amon Prodnik, a member of PolCoRe group, has recently published the chapter 3C: Commodifying Communication in Capitalism in the book Marx in the Age of Digital Capitalism edited by Christian Fuchs and Vincent Mosco. In the chapter, Jernej Prodnik analyses the commodity-form and commodification from a theoretical, conceptual and historical point of view while emphasizing the main consequences of the global universalisation of the commodity-form for society and social relations.
